Just to be clear:
I strongly disagree with being called/judged/labeled/whatever according to the music you listen to,hey you, you [insert music genre here]er.

I think this attitude shows shallowness and can come from close-minded persons, mainly. :bored: Personally, I hate this attitude.
To give you an example, although I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about: people who listen to rock are called rockers, et caetera.

My goodness grace, I listen to instrumental music mainly (any song can have an instrumental version, I know :rofl:), but my tastes are more than various. If someone would try to label me by taking into account the music I listen to, (:nerd:s) they couldn't find a word in the dictionary.

Speaking of labels, I came a cross one of the funniest sites I've ever found, and this article is about metalheads.
Opinions welcome, I'm really curious.

Tocmai ca nu e wikipedia, numele site-ului e evident facut la misto. Nu am apucat sa citesc tot ce contine, cred ca spre dimineata o sa vin cu replici mai inteligente/clare.

also note: there's a big difference between being judged by the music you listen to and being labeled by it. Personally I don't mind labels since they don't really mean anything. I just don't pay attention to them and because they don't matter I refuse to waste my time and actually take a stance.

But judging by music, that's something inevitable since it's a part of a person. It proves shallowness only if it's the ONLY judging criterion, but that's just plain stupid (since it would equal that the entire personality is engulfed in the music).
